Happy Farm Friday, Kid’s Edition!🍒🍐🍎 This week, our growers had their little ones take over to tell us what THEY think about cherries.

“Hey it’s Hawkins, I got a special one for you this Friday. I’m going to share my kids with you! I’m going to turn the camera on and let them tell you what they think about cherries, so buckle up! Hello this is Hawkins on Farm Friday. Okay, this is a Farm Friday, my name is Micah. I’m just a kid, so–. I’m going to tell you the cycle of the cherry. It gets picked off the tree. If this cherry has a pit in it like in real life, and then it goes into bins and orange machines and tractors carry it away to the loading docks. If these were connected then there would be two cherries and two pits. The heister drivers stack it in the big stacks. So these cherries will go growing in those orchards. The straddle trucks and flatbeds come and pick it up off to the warehouse and then to the store. Goodbye! A few days ago we made cherry popsicles and they were the most amazing thing ever. I’m going to tell you how you make cherry popsicles. We pitted the cherry and then blended it up. And then you freeze them in the freezer and um and added a little bit of water to them and then froze them. And then once that’s done, eat them! How were they? Super good.
I’m going to tell you how you if you eat too much cherries you’re going to if you do eat too many cherries… that’s enough, say bye! You go…. say bye bye!”
