Apples

the apples we find joy in growing

Tasting Notes

Floral, very little acidity, mellow, sweet, honey-like, ripe juiciness, fine-but-firm texture, rosy blush peel, aromatic with tropical notes of pear, honey, and banana

Ambrosia

Discovered by Canadian orchardists in the 1990s, these “fruit of the gods” Ambrosia apples have a little bit of a mysterious background, being found as a voluntary sapling at a row end of Jonagold trees. Known for their sweet honey-like flavor with notes of floral & pear with very little acidity, these Ambrosia apples can be used in place of any apple when working with recipes, sauces, beverages, snack trays, and more! When used in recipes, they are sweet enough to reduce the sugar needed, resist browning so do not require lemon juice, plus the thin skin doesn’t need peeled – adding to the crunch!
