This week’s Farm Friday with Clay gives a shoutout to our hardworking pollinators that make our crops possible!

“I’m Clay Gebbers here in one of our sweetheart cherry blocks and we’re here to give a shout out to the pollinators that made this crop possible. So bees fly from flower to flower to feed on the sweet nectar and then they transfer the pollen from one flower to the next which pollinizes it and gives us the fruit. The process of pollination fertilizes the blossoms in our orchard which produces fruit each season. We don’t take for granted the miracle they perform getting to millions and millions of pieces of fruit so we do the best we can to protect them while they’re here before they leave for their next destination.”
