Happy Farm Friday! This week, 3rd generation grower Courtney Valentine is here to share how farmers utilize the winter months to update employee housing and prepare for inspections. Our growers find great JOY in creating a healthy environment for our valued team members, and understand that begins with a clean, comfortable & cared for living space.

“Welcome to Farm Friday! I’m Courtney Valentine, a Third Generation Farmer, raising fourth generation farmers and I live in Tonasket Washington.
In the cold winter months, if it’s too cold to work outside, pruning trees we have other work we have to get done. We have to get ready for our housing inspections. So we have to clean out our cabins, we have to make payments and repairs, and for us this year that means we are upgrading our flooring! We’re repainting the walls, so here in our cabins that is what we’re doing! We’ve cleaned out everything moved it all and painted, and now we’re working on the flooring. And this is awesome you can be ready for our preoccupancy inspections with the Department of Health!” [Music]
