Apeel is a plant-based coating made of materials that naturally exist in the peels, seeds, and pulp of fruits and vegetables, making it edible and safe for consumers. Although Apeel meets the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements, no Joyfully Grown™ fruit we produce is treated with Apeel.
